Civil War Spectator
exists because battle re-enactments can be
one of the most exciting, eye-opening, lump-in-the-throat experiences
you can have. This is especially true when an event is on a scale
large enough to reflect the reality of the sacrifices suffered by
Americans on both sides. More and more events are at that scale. So
we're here.
Civil War Spectator
posts info about battle events in the
mid-Atlanticregion
(map). We focus on events that have the potential to draw
spectators from far outside the event's immediate local area.
Too often, folks outside an
event's local area don't even know that event exists. They're big
event lovers and they'd appreciate details early enough to plan a
trip.
We offer spectators as much
information as we can get from the sponsors, organizers or
co-ordinators of battle events. We spectators always want
more.
Beyond providing event details,
we hope to help improve events--as experienced by spectators. We have
space for advice and criticism---our own and anyone
else's.
Comment on the event you've
attended. Or comment about event-site problems. Or comment about any
other spectator or organizer reactions or concerns.Email
